Our Wedding....

October 5th was an incredible day - - it fulfilled my life long dream of marrying my soulmate...

It was just us and the girls...the perfect day, the perfect location and the perfect life starting...

We know how blessed we are to have found one another....

Here we are - - happy, in love and in our favourite venue...outdoors.

I never thought I'd find my soul-mate...

I always believed in fairy-tales...but thought that I had lost my chance...

Happy endings do happen - and they are happening to me right now....{smiles}

the future...

This is Greg's mother's homestead. Estimated to have been built between 1830-1850 (I think)...it is an amazing place...I want to create that atmosphere of family love & committment to future generations with our new property , on its land and within the house...

I want to give my children a place to call home - where their childhoods aren't overpowered by electronics, video games and the sound of the next SUV on the road in front of them...

Looks perfect, serene, quiet...peaceful - - and it can be - unfortunately in recent years more and more sailors have found the 'bedroom' as this particular part of the creek is named... and it's become a loud, boisterous place for fireworks and loud music.... But as I sat this weekend and saw this image without the boats around - I remember why I love it here, and the amazing memories Greg & I have made with the kids. They'll always remember and cherish 'CAMP' time...as will we....

It's always a beautiful wonder to see the full bloom of lilies...

but the even more special beauty is that these lilies are in the yard of a 100 year farm house....a yard that the love of my life grew up runnning around with his Nan....

I can't wait to create this 'beautifulness' on our own property...
